"Play in my house, Mommy!"

If you had told me three years ago, that we were going to add another little one to our then-almost-8-year-old triplets, I would have laughed and laughed. Thank goodness, the joke was on me! Catherine Grace Shrader (Cate) has added so much to our family. From her adoring brothers, to her loving sister, and the parents thrown in to boot, we are all hopelessly wrapped around her little finger. And so, when she says, "Play in my house, Mommy," I tend to drop whatever else and join her.
How long has it been since you had pretend soup? A cup of air tea? Did you use your best manners and always, always ask for more? Life's most precious moments fly right by, my friends. Take a moment today to sit down and enjoy whatever stage your blessings are at -- and by all means, wear a pretty hat to do it!

Thank goodness little Cate is talking; poor Pip is talking at a two-year-old level, and he'll be three on the 15th of February. We are working with him, though, and we're hoping he'll have more to say in the not-too-distant future.

How exciting about your blog. I keep saying one day I'll start a(nother) one, but the time doesn't permit for now.

After meeting little Cate you KNOW I'd be right in her little house, pinkie at attention while I sip my air tea. Great blog, my dear pal! Love you bunches....

Hi Carol! It's nice to catch up with you through your blog! :) If you would like you can visit my blog at laurensjourneyhome.blogspot.com

Glad to see you are doing well and keeping busy!! :) Dan and I are doing great. I am back working at Mayo Clinic Hospital and going to grad school. Dan has taken a leave of absence at his high school this year and is enjoying private tutoring. It has been a good break for us to have hime home more. 10 years of teaching can take its toll! Anyway, good to hear from you! :)
