Well, the days are dragging by. We are so ready to have our missing part home that we can hardly stand it. With all the nervous energy around here, we tried to be productive by scanning in some old photos...
I have to share this one of my Dad...now, I'll say, I never knew him WITH hair so this was definitely taken before he was 23! But what strikes me is the similarities between Dad and my Benjamin. Amazing. I always say that my B loves me like my Dad did -- completely unconditionally -- it is a gift. But wow, I didn't realize how much they also LOOK alike!
Families are such a blessing. (And I'll be happy to have mine back under one roof...SOON!)
